Come with us for our Express Aurora Hunt and have a guaranteed early return to Tromsø city centre. Leave the city lights behind and travel into the Arctic wilderness. During this activity, our small team of Aurora guides check the forecasts and use local knowledge to decide on the best place to chase the Northern Lights. On this tour we will travel wherever looks safest and with the best chances of seeing the Northern Lights within 1 hr of Tromsø city centre. Once we arrive to the best location available we will enjoy a warm drink and a sweet biscuit together while we wait. We'll have you back to the city centre by midnight, so you can be rested the next morning.

Your guide will give you the option to have your photo taken which will be available for purchase within a few days after the tour.

This tour was created by popular demand. Guests from previous seasons expressed their interest in joining a second or third night chasing. The duration of our Aurora Hunt with Citizen Science and other similar tours in Tromsø meant some guests found the duration over multiple nights too exhausting for a holiday. Other guests expressed an interest to have a tour that came back early, as many of the flights from Tromsø depart in the morning. If you would like to take advantage of our Night Owl package and booking multiple tours in a row - follow this link to read more.
